Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had many abilities, which included the ability to act, direct and produce plays, as well as write them, teach, and be director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of the British father and English-Turkish Cypriot mother. As a child, she appeared in several commercials. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She ended up making the move into Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in an Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her partner in 2009. They were married in a civil ceremony that December and renew their vows during a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011 following Anna's conversion to Judaism. Bo's relationship with Lauren was featured in CNN's most popular TV Couples ever, and was named the top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's online popularity grew due to the popularity of the series.
