Emily Bett Rickards is a Canadian born actress. She is most well-known in America for her performance as Felicity Smoak, portrayed by The CW series Arrow. Rickards lived living in British Columbia. Her acting career began in the early years of her life by learning about musical theatre, dancing and other forms of entertainment. Her high school graduation was earlier than expected and studied at Vancouver Film School where she was awarded the Acting Essentials Certificate. Once she was done with the program, she went to an audition that was open and she was signed. She studied at her school, the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver. She was originally signed to appear in one episode of the show However, her enthusiastic reactions from viewers and her ability to sarcasm was the catalyst for her to first appear as a guest-star and later being a co-star for the rest of season 1.
