Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and TV personality popular as the host of The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. She was born and raised in Little Rock. Sheryl is from a family that has had many issues. She spent most of her growing up taking care of her younger sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. Growing up, she had difficulties with her mother. Sheryl says that at one point her mother cut her dad because he got too close. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Her passion for the military was comedy. She was chosen as the first woman to be a finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, that was held in the year 1989. Her TV professional career started in 1992 as a actor on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. The show was as host of Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. Since 2011 she has been hosting as a co-host of The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. She's also appeared in fictional show like Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
